NEW DELHI: At least 31 students from various educational institutes were hospitalised early Friday morning after they fell ill due to food poisoning, reportedly from consuming 'pani puri' at a roadside stall in Nanded city.
The students, from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, SGGS College, and a nursing college, were admitted to Dr Shankarrao Chavan Government Medical College and Hospital after experiencing symptoms such as vomiting, nausea, and uneasiness.
Hospital officials confirmed that the students were brought in starting from 4 am and their condition is stable after medical examination. They have been admitted to different wards for further treatment.
