WWE announces Crown Jewel 2025 to be held in Australia instead of Saudi Arabia

WWE has announced that Crown Jewel 2025 will be held in Perth, Australia, marking the first time the event takes place outside of Saudi Arabia. RAC Arena will host SmackDown on October 10, Crown Jewel on October 11, and Raw on October 13. Reports suggest this event could be John Cena's final match, drawing significant attention from fans.

WWE has announced the Crown Jewel edition of 2025 recently and it has announced it’s venue in Australia this year. WWE Crown Jewel is a professional wrestling event held annually with top-tier WWE talents and champions. This is for the first time WWE Crown Jewel will be held out of Saudi Arabia, and the company has shifted the venue to Australia.
As per reports, WWE has officially announced that Crown Jewel will take place on Saturday, 11 October, at RAC Arena in Perth, Australia. Since its creation back in 2018, Crown Jewel has been held exclusively in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The inaugural winners of the PLE were Cody Rhodes and Liv Morgan.
However, this year all things have changed. Not only this, it is also being eported that the Crown Jewel event could be the last event of John Cena too.

WWE announces Crown Jewel event in Australia


WWE via their social media pages announced the date and location for Crown Jewel 2025. According to WWE, it was decided that the event will not be taking place in Saudi Arabia. Moving the PLE to Perth, the Australian fans will get a chance to witness their favorite WWE stars live in action.
Meanwhile, WWE Australia has also shared the news on their X handle writing a post, “WWE returns to Australia this October for #WWECrownJewel: Perth with #WWERaw and #SmackDown also set to take place at RAC Arena! Register now for an exclusive presale opportunity. #WAtheDreamState #WWEAustralia.”

Apart from this, the company has also announced that WWE will return to Australia for shows on October 10, 11, and 13 in Perth. This will see SmackDown, Raw, and Crown Jewel, all the shows and events will take place at the RAC Arena.
SmackDown will be held on October 10, followed by Crown Jewel PLE, and then Raw on October 13 before the company heads back to the United States. Previously, in February 2024, WWE returned to Australia for the first time in six years for Elimination Chamber.

Is John Cena to play his last bout in Australia at Crown Jewel 2025?


Reports are suggesting that John Cena will play his last bout at Crown Jewel PLE in Australia in October 2025. The Cenation leader who is currently busy with his farewell tour perform in the ring one last time.

Cena’s last appearance on WWE is expected to draw significant attention from fans across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
