Why Dan Orlovsky thinks there’s no situation more ‘depressing’ Than The Steelers’

The Pittsburgh Steelers face offensive concerns as they await Aaron Rodgers' decision and address the void at wide receiver after trading George Pickens. Dan Orlovsky criticized the Steelers' offense, while Nick Herbig expressed confidence in the current quarterbacks. Cam Heyward urged fans to remain patient, and Omar Khan dismissed comparisons to last year's wide receiver situation.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have been facing some challenges and one of the biggest ones is the decision around quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The Steelers are still waiting on a decision from 41-year-old quarterback Aaron Rodgers. They also have a big hole at the No. 2 wide receiver position after trading George Pickens to the Dallas CowboysFormer NFL quarterback and sports analyst, Dan Orlovsky, did not hold back on the current state of the Pittsburgh Steelers offense during a talk show appearance. “Pittsburgh, the way I look at it now, there’s no offense in the league that scares you less than Pittsburgh,” Orlovsky said on the Pat McAfee Show. “There’s no situation that is more, i guess, depressing than Pittsburgh’s right now.”

The quarter back position is perhaps the most crucial one for the Steelers. And some experts have even commented that the Steelers may lose their identity if they chase the wrong quarterback. It goes without saying that the team's current roster of QBs, Mason Rudolph, Will Howard and Skylar Thompson have been criticized by their fans widely.
However Steelers’ outside linebacker Nick Herbig feels confident in the current quarterbacks room, he claimed in a recent podcast.“We got a Big Ten guy, Ohio State guy [Will Howard]. We got Rudolph. He’s always in the gun, in the slinger. We got options. We got options. You know, I like our options right now. I do,” Herbig said on Steelers All-Pro defensive tackle Cam Heyward’s Not Just Football podcast. Heyward also shared a straightforward message for Steelers fans worried about the George Pickens trade — “don’t panic.”“I’m sure guys have talked about it, but I think the main thing is, and this is a PSA for all Steeler fans: don’t panic, stay patient, we’ll get to work,” Heyward said on his Not Just Football podcast. “I think sometimes we can jump off the ship and think the ship is sinking. We got work to do. And, you know, whoever won the offseason isn’t gonna win the regular season, is not gonna win the Super Bowl.”The Steelers appear to be in a similar position to last year at wide receiver following the trade of George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys. However, general manager Omar Khan disagrees with that comparison. “We wouldn’t have done this if we didn’t feel good about the receiver situation, about our depth here,” Khan said. “I know people make comparison to last year, but it’s not even close to being the same.”
