Eid al-Fitr is the first of Islam's two major celebrations; the second is Eid al-Adha. It occurs on the first day of Shawwal, the tenth month in the Islamic calendar. Muslims all over the world celebrate Eid al-Fitr, which marks the conclusion of Ramadan's month-long dawn-to-dusk fast.
Sagar Parekh, who essays the role of Akash in Jagriti-Ek Nayi Subah said, “Eid has always been a special celebration for me, but ever since I moved to Mumbai, it has taken on a whole new meaning. I’ve been fortunate to have some amazing friends here who have welcomed me like family. Every year, we get together, and it’s all about love, laughter, and, of course, the most delicious food you can imagine. From fragrant biryanis to melt-in-your-mouth sheer khorma, it’s a feast I eagerly look forward to. This year, the plans are no different. After Eid prayers, it will be a big lunch with all my close friends. I’m especially excited about trying some home-cooked delicacies my friends have promised—it’s going to be a day filled with joy, food, and making memories that I’ll cherish forever.”
