He may have made his debut in Bollywood over five years ago, but
Sooraj Pancholi hasn’t had it easy. While his performance in ‘Hero’ (2015) was appreciated, his second film ‘Satellite Shankar’ (2019) failed to create magic at the box office. In an earlier interview, Sooraj had admitted that he had had a tough time finding work, but he had not allowed it to dishearten him.
The actor, whose name was dragged in the
Jiah Khan death case, has been battling the court case since several years now.
The actor has often said that the case has taken a huge toll on his family, and that he was hoping that justice prevails soon. Sooraj also said that because of the case, many producers were wary about working with him. Last year, the actor said that he was trying to remain as positive as he could, and hoped that he could put the case behind him once and for all. In fact, Sooraj even admitted that his mother, actress Zarina Wahab, even feared that he could harm himself, given the intense stress he was under because of the case.
Calling acting his passion, Sooraj said that he would never give up on his dream. On the work front, Sooraj has ‘Time to Dance’ in his kitty currently. The film also stars Isabelle Kaif and Rajpal Yadav.
