Vasco and team returns
The film follows Vasco aka Thala, a carefree and street-smart man played by Mohanlal, and his ragtag group of friends as they get entangled in a series of comic misadventures. Their antics often land them in trouble with the police and local gangsters, but their undying love for their neighbourhood and each other forms the emotional core of the story.
Directed by Anwar Rasheed and penned by Benny P. Nayarambalam, Chotta Mumbai holds a special place in Malayalam cinema for its perfect blend of humour, action, and vibrant characters.
A legendary ensemble
An ensemble cast including Kalabhavan Mani, Sai Kumar, Jagathy Sreekumar, Rajan P. Dev, Siddique, and Bhavana adds depth and charm to the narrative with their stunning performances.
On the other hand, Mohanlal and Tharun Moorthy’s recently released thriller drama movie ‘Thudarum’ has crossed Rs 160 crores worldwide.
